Kirk Dietrich began with photography back in the ’70s. Now he owns a 50-year old graphic design firm in East Wenatchee, Washington.

Blind Renaissance’s carefully crafted designs can be found all over the Columbia River valley. Kirk possesses a vast network of clients, designers, artists, manufacturers and distributors around the area and further reaching.

Central Washington University has enacted a program in the last few years where they honour 12 different Alumnus of essential Arts & Humanities departments. Kirk Dietrich had been selected & attended to receive his award, as well as participate in, an hour and a half, open discussion with this year’s Senior Graphic Design students.

Kirk discussed his graphic design experience, and some of the skills he learned at college that he still utilizes today. A few lucky attendees may be getting an exciting summer internship with us this year! There was also an open forum for faculty and students following a wonderful lunch. The Alumnus receiving awards described their backgrounds, the majors they took and their current work, projects and goals.

The award and subsequent event to honor Alumni is hugely appreciated, and Kirk Dietrich honored to have received an award and his work, both past & current, recognized among the communities.
